March 30, 2015:Springer Publishing has contacted Asheville orthopaedic surgeon Gordon I. Groh, MD to elicit his services to author a new textbook on clavicle injuries. Dr. Groh came to the attention of the publishing company due to his expertise in shoulder surgery and his international teaching and publication resume. The textbook is tentatively set to cover approximately 300 pages divided into 15 chapters. Dr. Groh will author and co-author many of the chapters. Dr. Groh also plans on drawing on his network of shoulder experts from Harvard, Duke, Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic and others to round out the additional chapters. The final book is expected by Spring Publishing in early 2016.
